The morning began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Founder Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa, as the Tiranga soared high against the sky, symbolising the pride and promise of the nation.
The programme unfolded with soulful musical renditions, thought-provoking theatre, and reflective speeches by students. Each performance paid tribute to the countless sacrifices that won India its freedom. The young Goenkans embodied the values of courage, unity, and service, reminding everyone that independence is not just a historic gift but an ongoing responsibility.
Theatrical presentations vividly captured the struggles of not just freedom fighters but those still fighting to keep our country safe, while the choir’s powerful melodies stirred hearts with patriotism. The assembly concluded with a pledge by students to dream fearlessly, act wisely, and serve the nation with pride, resonating deeply with the school’s vision of shaping forward-thinking global citizens rooted in Indian values.
