JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

The Activity Studio at GDGPS Sector 48 came alive with devotion and festive cheer as students celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami. The atmosphere was filled with warmth as children, dressed in vibrant attire, lovingly swayed the beautifully adorned jhoola of Lord Krishna, their faces glowing with joy and reverence.

The celebration began with an engaging storytelling session about the life and playful childhood of Lord Krishna, capturing the children’s imagination and deepening their understanding of the festival’s significance.Adding to the festive spirit, our Principal Mrs Anuradha Handa  and Headmistress Mrs Harmeet Kaur, joined the children, sharing in their excitement and blessing them on this special day. Their presence made the occasion even more memorable, as laughter, devotion, and togetherness filled the room.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of prashad, relished by all, leaving behind a lingering sweetness in both hearts and smiles. Simple yet soulful, the event beautifully reflected the values of love, blessings, and unity that Janmashtami inspires.
