KIC UNIVASSIST UNIVERSITY FAIR 2026

(August 18, 2026)

GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, organised a University Fair in collaboration with KIC UnivAssist for students of Grades XI and XII. The fair was designed to provide students with direct exposure to international universities and help them make informed decisions about their undergraduate study options.

The fair brought together representatives from a diverse group of universities across the United States, Hong Kong, and Belgium, including the University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, California Baptist University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Houston, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Oklahoma, University of Texas at Arlington, and UCLL University of Applied Sciences, among others.

Students had the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives and explore a wide range of undergraduate programmes. The participating institutions offered programmes spanning Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Psychology, Design, Architecture, Aviation and Aerospace, Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, Law, Media, Hospitality, International Relations, Mathematics, Physics, Medicine and allied fields, among several other disciplines.

The fair also enabled students to gain clarity on important aspects of the university application process, including admission requirements, standardised tests, scholarships, application fee waivers, internships, student support services, accommodation, campus life, and post-graduation opportunities. The KIC UnivAssist student handout encouraged students to ask universities questions that would help them assess programme fit and understand the overall international student experience.

The event served as a valuable platform for students to move beyond general university information and engage in meaningful conversations about their prospective programmes and study destinations. By facilitating direct interaction with university representatives, the fair supported students in comparing their options, understanding admission pathways, and beginning to identify institutions that align with their academic interests and future aspirations.

Overall, the University Fair was a meaningful career and university exploration initiative for Grades XI and XII, giving students greater awareness of global higher-education opportunities and encouraging them to approach their university planning with greater clarity and informed decision-making.
