PDP HOURS EXAMINATION

On 26th April 2025, GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, conducted a full-day professional development session titled “PDP HOURS – EXAMINATION” for teachers teaching Grades 3 to 12. The session was aimed at enhancing the quality, structure, and consistency of question paper design through collaborative planning and the development of well-defined blueprints and evaluation criteria.

The session commenced under the insightful guidance of the school Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa, who emphasized the importance of aligning assessments with learning outcomes. She encouraged teachers to maintain clarity, coherence, and fairness in examination design and inspired the faculty to work together to ensure academic integrity and excellence across all grade levels.

Adding to the depth of the session, Ms. Srishti Bajaj, conducted an interactive workshop focusing on Bloom’s Taxonomy. She highlighted how using this framework helps in crafting balanced question papers that address various levels of cognitive abilities—from basic recall to higher-order thinking skills like analysis, evaluation, and creation.

The session was highly enriching, fostering professional growth and reinforcing the school’s commitment to thoughtful, student-centered assessment practices.
