INDEPENDENCE DAY ASSEMBLY 2025-26

“Freedom is not given, it is won with courage, sacrifice and unity.”
Class IV C presented a special assembly on the occasion of 79th Independence Day, filled with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The program began with a soulful patriotic song that created a sense of pride and unity among all. The narrators welcomed the audience and highlighted the importance of the day, remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and soldiers.
The assembly continued with a prayer song, followed by the Thought for the Day which inspired everyone with reflections on freedom, pride, and national values. This was followed by the news segment, covering national, international, sports, weather, and school news, keeping the audience informed and engaged. The highlight of the program was the powerful skit titled Azaadi Ka Sapna, which beautifully portrayed the journey of India’s freedom struggle. Through enactments of great freedom fighters such as Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, and Rani Lakshmi Bai, the skit reminded everyone of the courage and sacrifices that won us independence. The performance was further enhanced by a patriotic dance, leaving the audience deeply moved as the stage was filled with energy and colors of the tricolor. Speeches about the meaning of the national flag and the duties of responsible citizens further inspired the gathering to uphold values of unity, peace, and progress. The program concluded with the motivating words of the Headmistress, who praised the efforts of the students and encouraged everyone to contribute positively to the nation. The assembly ended on a proud note with the singing of the National Anthem, uniting the entire audience in the spirit of patriotism.
