ORIENTATION CUM INDUCTION PROGRAM FOR THE NEW SESSION FOR CLASSES III TO V

GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, organized an Orientation cum Induction Program for the parents of Classes III to V on 5th April 2025, marking the beginning of an exciting new academic session. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and served as an important platform to introduce parents to the school’s philosophy, curriculum, and unique learning initiatives.

The program began in the school auditorium with a warm welcome by the staff, followed by an address by the Headmistress. She emphasized the value of a strong parent-school partnership and shared an overview of the session ahead. She highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic development and outlined key programs such as the Makers Space—a hands-on learning hub encouraging creativity and problem-solving; the House System that fosters team spirit and leadership; VLEP (Values and Language Enrichment Program) aimed at building strong communication skills and moral values; and the M & M Program focused on mentoring and motivation to support emotional and academic growth. She also introduced the Go Sharpener program, designed to enhance critical thinking and logical reasoning through engaging, structured activities.

Following the Headmistress’s address, parents moved to their wards’ respective classrooms for a detailed briefing by the class teachers. Teachers explained the academic pursuits for the year, day-to-day routines, classroom expectations, and the integration of the FIT (Fitness is Timeless) program to support physical well-being.

The Orientation cum Induction Program concluded with an interactive session, where parents’ queries were addressed. The well-structured and informative program was well received by the parents, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
